Common Questions About Our Programs
Are credits transferable between degree levels?
Yes. Credits earned at one degree level count toward the next. For example, your Certificate courses apply to an Associate degree, and Associate courses apply to a Bachelor's.
Do I need to complete degrees in order?
No. You can enter at any level for which you meet the prerequisites. However, many students find the progressive pathway helpful for building foundational knowledge.
Is FIS accredited?
No. Florida Interfaith Seminary is not accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. It operates under Florida's religious exemption (§1005.06(1)(f)) for faith education.
Can I take courses from multiple faith traditions?
Absolutely. Our interfaith approach encourages cross-tradition study. You can build a degree program that spans multiple faith traditions.
How long do I have to complete a degree?
All programs are fully self-paced. The durations listed are estimates based on typical student progress, but you can take as long as you need.
